Beauty Lab is The Ōpalo Method's skin and beauty pillar. It cares for the skin with professional technology and scientific evidence, without losing what is natural: the goal is skin that looks good because it works well, not a change of appearance.

Light does not heat the skin. It feeds it. At Ōpalo we work with devices we can name by brand and model, not with unnamed “cutting-edge technology”. Among others, LightStim ProPanel, which applies photobiomodulation — light at specific wavelengths that the cell uses as fuel — Cryoskin Facial and NMS Facial. You can look each one up by brand and model and find published literature; that is the point. Which device goes into your protocol is defined at the assessment, according to what your skin needs.

With photobiomodulation, visible results appear between session 6 and session 10, not at the first one: the effect builds up, it does not fire off. That is why we work by protocol and not by single session. An isolated session feels good and changes nothing measurable; if what you want is a sustained result, the number of sessions is part of the design and not an extra.

It depends on what your skin needs, and that is not known before seeing it. Everyone who comes to Ōpalo starts with an assessment: we review the state of your skin, we listen to what you have used before and what result you are after. The protocol comes out of that, and so does the investment, not the other way round. A protocol may be resolved in a single session or need several across weeks, and charging the same in both cases would be comfortable for us and imprecise for you. We are not the cheapest option in Mérida; we are the one that tells you what you are buying and why.
